It is also about the right approach to technology and process development in KGHM. It is about supporting inventive activity among employees, investing in their knowledge and development.

KGHM has been actively engaging its employees in the process of positive change at the company for many years. In order to provide possible solutions, KGHM has introduced the Invention Rules, according to which throughout the year, including during the period of the regular Invention Exchange, employees of the Group, as well as persons from outside the Group, are encouraged to submit ideas for technical, technical and organisational solutions in the area of technology, but also in the area of the work environment, including the improvement of work safety and health.

At KGHM, we use various ways to protect intellectual property. We have internal regulations to protect the resources of the entire Group. In addition, we have IT tools in place to support the intellectual property protection process. The KGHM has a broad portfolio of intellectual property rights, protected both at the Polish Patent Office and at foreign offices, which it intends to gradually increase.
