PROGRAMME FOR THE PROVISION OF DIPLOMA PROJECT RESEARCH MATERIALS
The programme is directed to university students writing their diploma projects: bachelor's theses, engineer's theses, master's theses and doctoral dissertations.
The process is standardised for all KGHM Branches and the Central Office, and has specified deadlines. Universities send data concerning their demand for covering subject areas within the prescribed time: from November to 20 December of a given calendar year. The demand data should include the thematic scope of the subject area together with its abstract prepared by the supervisor. In the abstract, the supervisor lists expectations, whose scope covers KGHM workstreams.
The obtained topics are then considered by substantive units at the Central Office and in Branches. Accepted topics, together with additional proposals suggested by Branches and the Central Office, are published within the first decade of April each year and remain at the disposal of students by 31 March the following year. The list of topics remains closed.
