Awards and distinctions

KGHM has been consistently building its status as a responsible employer by strengthening the organisation's value-based culture, and by taking care of its employees' long-term development and safety. Awards and distinctions, attesting to the Company's desirability, as assessed by the current and prospective employees, on the one hand, confirm the validity of the course of development taken and, on the other, are a drive for continual improvement.

KGHM – a desirable employer

The company has for years been in the top ten of the best-rated employers in Poland, which is confirmed, among others, by the results of Randstad Employer Brand Research.

KGHM has been ranked in this prestigious listing since 2011 and during this time it has been classified in first place on several occasions. The copper giant was on top of the podium for the first time in 2015. Since then, it has been named the most attractive employer in Poland four times. Among the main assets of the Company, respondents list its good financial situation, employment stability, implementation of cutting-edge technologies and good reputation.

In years 2018- 2020, KGHM Polska Miedź has made it to the Randstad Employer Brand Research Hall of Fame. It was an acknowledgement and special award from the host, who appreciated not only the care for employees or the process of building an attractive employer brand. It was also taken into account that in the three previous editions of the research (2015- 2017), it was the company from Lower Silesia that was most highly rated by respondents.

Last year KGHM was again included in the classification of top employers in Poland, and this time took 7th place in this prestigious ranking. The company was appreciated, among other things, for the best salaries and benefits.

In 2022, the company took the 4th place, being the highest rated Company of the State Treasury. In addition, in the "raw materials and fuels" sector, KGHM took the 1st place. The high position, up three places in comparison to the previous year, is the result of the two new elements - a friendly atmosphere at work and stability of employment.

Randstad Award is the biggest international research project concerning employer image, conducted by the ICMA institute. Carried out in 30 countries all over the world, Randstad Employer Brand Research is the most complex analysis of employer brands and factors that influence their desirability.
