The Management Board of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. announces that in the consolidated quarterly report for the third quarter of 2009 (QSr 3/2009), published on 13 November 2009, on page 18, in selected explanatory data to the consolidated financial statements, in the table „Financial data of Polkomtel S.A.”, there occurred a typographical error in presentation of the position: „Profit/(loss) for the period” for the 3 months ended 30 September 2009 and for the 3 months ended 30 September 2008. Published data:

Correct data:

This change does not affect the presented profit/(loss) for the period of Polkomtel S.A., either for the 9 months ended 30 September 2009, or the 9 months ended 30 September 2008. This change also does not affect the financial result of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., the consolidated financial result of the KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. Group nor the other information in the consolidated quarterly report QSr 3/2009, published on 13 November 2009.
