Registration of a change in the share capital of „Energetyka” sp. z o.o.

The Management Board of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. announces that on 3 June 2008 a change in share capital was registered in the Regional Court for Wrocław-Fabryczna in Wrocław, Section IX (Economic) of the National Court of Registration for the company “Energetyka” sp. z o.o. (a subsidiary of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.). The share capital of “Energetyka” sp. z o.o. was increased by PLN 27 317.2 thousand, through the creation of 273 172 new shares having a face value of PLN 100.00 each. The new shares were acquired by KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. and paid for in cash. The share capital of “Energetyka” sp. z o.o. after registration of change amounts to PLN 248 792.5 thousand and is divided into 2 487 925 shares having a face value of PLN 100.00 each. The total number of votes after the registration of the change in the share capital is 2 487 925. KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. owns 100% of the share capital of the company “Energetyka” sp. z o.o.Legal basis: § 5 sec. 1 point 9 of the Decree of the Minister of Finance dated 19 October 2005 regarding current and periodic information published by issuers of securities (Journal of Laws from 2005 Nr 209, item 1744)
