Completion of exploration work in the Gaworzyce-Radwanice concession areas

The Management Board of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. announces the completion of exploration work conducted in the years 2008-2014 in the Gaworzyce-Radwanice concession areas. The geological documentation will be sent for approval to the geological administration authority (the Ministry of the Environment). As part of the work performed, 216 million tonnes of mineral resources were documented, with average grading of 1.89% Cu (approximately 4.1 million tonnes of copper) and 35g/t Ag (approximately 7.5 thousand tonnes of silver).

The Management Board of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. decided to continue formal and technical requirements related to obtaining a concession for the extraction of copper ore in the aforementioned areas. The Gaworzyce-Radwanice concessions cover the area of 99 km2 and are adjacent to the western border of the Polkowice-Sieroszowice deposits which are currently mined by the Company. The Gaworzyce-Radwanice project is part of the on-going exploration strategy of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.
