Individual Investor Day
For years, KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. has been one of the world’s leading producers of copper and silver. In order to maintain a high level of investor relations and to demonstrate its commitment to maintaining an open dialogue with current and future investors, the company, in cooperation with the Individual Investors Society (Stowarzyszeniem Inwestorów Indywidualnych) organised an Individual Investors Day on 1-2 October 2019.
Janusz Krystosiak, Director of the Investor Relations and IRO: We had the pleasure of hosting individual investors during one of our regular site visits. This event was another in a series which support our goal of maintaining the highest-quality communications with the capital market.
During this year’s Individual Investors Day, Katarzyna Kreczmańska-Gigol, Vice President of the Management Board (Finance) and CFO of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., emphasised the fact that We value the opinions of all of our stakeholders, including investors, and not only the largest shareholders but also those who provide us capital in smaller amounts. From the perspective of the needs of our Company and Group, but also in terms of the expectations of individual investors, these are important decisions, because such capital is valuable and is expected to earn money.
The invited guests not only visited our mines, but also toured our Głogów Copper Smelter and Refinery and Tailings Storage Facility. Next, at the Head Office of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. they participated in panel discussions, during which a variety of topics were covered, including finances, strategy, production assets and the current global macroeconomic situation.
Janusz Krystosiak, Director of the Investor Relations and IRO: Our role is to accurately present the Company’s situation. We work on behalf of our shareholders, and we hope that the knowledge that we share will enable prudent and successful investment decisions to be taken by exisiting and potetial shareholders.
