The Management Board of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., in reference to regulatory filing no. 39/2021 dated 14 October 2021, announces that today it decided not to exercise the right of first refusal to acquire shares in the joint venture company Sierra Gorda SCM belonging to Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd. and Sumitomo Corporation.
This decision is in line with the current strategy of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A and it will enable the realisation of other strategic development projects and investment challenges.
