| DESCRIPTION OF THE SOLUTION | A conveyor belt system that supports two operating modes: transport and discharge. The system is characterized by a set of fixed rollers for the discharge position, inclined at an angle of 20–45 degrees to the working plane of the conveyor belt, and a set of concave, tilting rollers for the transport position, controlled by a set of hydraulic cylinders. After switching from the transport position to the discharge position, the belt moves at an incline over the fixed rollers. A walkway for the crew runs along the system, which also features discharge openings through which the transported material can be discharged below the walkway and the conveyor belt. The system additionally features a set of hinged flaps that, when open, form discharge surfaces for the excavated material. |
