The basis for our CSR activities is the "Strategy of Corporate Social Responsibility of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. to the year 2018". Its principles are based on the company’s many years of experience and on the challenges that a modern global enterprise is forced to deal with.  

This strategy was prepared on the basis of the highest standards set forth by:

• ISO 26000 Guidance on Social Responsibility and its Polish equivalent PN-ISO 26000
• ICMM (International Council on Mining and Metals).

Our goal is to achieve transparency in the information we provide, and therefore we publish CSR reports that are developed in line with the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative. GRI is the most often used CSR reporting standard in the world.
