The company has developed a Code of Ethics, which was approved by the Management Board of KGHM and implemented in September 2015. The Code is a major tool of our corporate culture, helping to determine priorities and set principles which all employees should observe on a daily basis.
Global organizations require a consistent approach to the principles of daily operations. KGHM’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of business ethics in such a diverse setting is of the utmost importance to us.
The objective of the Code of Ethics is to ensure compliance of our actions with the highest standards based on KGHM’s guiding values: zero-harm, teamwork, results-driven, accountability, and courage. The Code of Ethics is a guide to proper conduct at work and helps us in our daily decision-making. It makes us stronger as a team. It also supports our image as a stable, responsible, and socially-engaged company. Section 5.3 of the Code of Ethics also describes the Company’s policy with respect to diversity.
